RE-ELECT ROCK ABBOUD
For the past 12 years, Rock Abboud has served on the Beverly Hills Village Council, working to represent residents, make responsible financial and policy decisions, and plan thoughtfully for the future.

His approach to local government is grounded in listening, collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to protecting the quality of life in Beverly Hills.
During his time on Council, he has supported work involving roads and infrastructure, clean water and reliable sewers, public safety, parks and recreation, and efforts to make the community more walkable and connected.

Rock also brings a broader record of public service and regional leadership, including work with the Oakland County Senior Advisory Council, SEMCOG, and the Michigan Municipal League.

He is seeking another term with the experience of someone who knows the work, the perspective of a longtime resident, and a continued commitment to helping shape what comes next for Beverly Hills.
Experience and Leadership
Serving the community on the Beverly Hills Village Council for the past 12 years.
Serving as a voting delegate to the Michigan Municipal League for the past 12 years. Currently serving on the MML Transportation, Infrastructure, and Technology Comittee.
Serving on the Oakland County Senior Advisory Council as a Chair and member at large since 2009.
Serves as the Village of Beverly Hills municipal representative to Birmingham Next.
Serving as a voting delegate to SEMCOG for the past 12 years. Currently serving on the SEMCOG Executive Comittee.
Earned the Michigan Municipal League Level Four Ambassador Award, the highest level of recognition in the Elected Officials Academy.

Record of Service
Roads and Infrastructure
Abboud supports continued maintenance and improvement of Beverly Hills roads and infrastructure. His regional work with SEMCOG and the Michigan Municipal League has included transportation and infrastructure issues affecting local communities.
Public Safety
Abboud has consistently supported funding for Beverly Hills police and fire services and views public safety as a core responsibility of Village government. Supporting those who keep Beverly Hills safe is foundational to his efforts as a public servant.
Clean Water and Reliable Sewers
Abboud supports long-term planning for reliable water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure. His previous regional work through SEMCOG included efforts addressing stormwater overflow and infrastructure planning.
Parks and Recreation
Abboud believes our parks are a pillar our community. He has supported investment in Beverly Hills parks and recreational spaces, including previous funding efforts involving Beverly, Riverside, and Beverly Green parks.
Walkable Community
Abboud supports making Beverly Hills safer and easier to navigate on foot and by bike. His prior council work included involvement with Safe Routes to School and transportation-alternative grant efforts.
Responsible Planning and Grants
Abboud supports using long-term planning and outside funding opportunities to strengthen Village services and infrastructure. His regional roles have included reviewing transportation projects and grant-related funding through SEMCOG.
